Question 117: To ask the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number and nature of applications from various groups in County Kildare for grant aid under the RAPID or CLÁR programmes currently on hand; the degree to which it is intended to meet these requirements in full in 2009; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that the CLÁR Programme does not cover Co. Kildare. The RAPID Unit has one application on file under the 2006/7 Playgrounds Grants Scheme in respect of Athy RAPID area and it is expected that this will be paid in 2009.
