Question 298: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the cost, in tabular format, including salary and pension payments, of each of the programme managers, special advisers, assistants or other staff appointed by him in 2007 post-election and 2008; the names, titles and duties of each of the staff appointed during these periods; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the table. In June 2007, following the General Election, the Minister for Education and Science Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., appointed the following staff:
