Question 201: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the cost, in tabular format, including salary and pension payments, of each of the programme managers, special advisers, assistants or other staff appointed by him in 2007 post-election and 2008; the names, titles and duties of each of the staff appointed during these periods; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The requested information in respect of the staff appointed by me since June 2007 is set out in the following table:

Payments not exceeding 11% of salary are paid in respect of Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSAs) for my Special and Press Advisers. Both my Personal Assistant and Personal Secretary are members of the Non-Contributory Pension Scheme for non-established State employees. The Public Service Management Act, 1997 sets out the duties of Special Advisers.
