Question 178: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if a person who is entitled to work until they are 70 years of age but who are made redundant prior to that but over 65, should not be entitled to full statutory redundancy. [1131/09]

Two years service
Class A (or class J contributions if over the age of 65) in the past four years and
A genuine redundancy situation exists.
