Question 491: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if she will confirm that €20 million was allocated by the Health Service Executive for microbiologists and infection-control nurses following the publication of the SARI report; the funding that has been allocated to the mid-west region of the HSE for this purpose since 2001; the funding that has been allocated to each of the other HSE regions; the posts that have been created in each region for this purpose; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
