Question 269: To ask the Minister for Finance the amount of money that would be accrued by charging public sector employees an additional charge of 2% of their income to cover the cost of public service pensions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1256/09]

Based on the current Pay bill an additional charge of 2% of income on public sector employees would amount to approximately €360 million in a full year.
