Question 131: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the extent to which she has received or sought information which might indicate the level of various forms of cancer on a county or regional basis; if any such comparisons have been made with previous years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Statistics in relation to cancer incidence are collated by the National Cancer Registry. My Department has asked the Director of the Registry to examine this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
