Question 203: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if she will report on the issue of doctors receiving capitation grants and fees for patients who are deceased more than three months; the system her Department or the Health Service Executive has in place to mitigate against this occurring; if she is satisfied that this is not occurring in practice; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive (HSE) has the operational and funding responsibility for the General Medical Services (GMS) Scheme. My Department is conferring with the HSE in relation to the particular issues raised by the Deputy, and I will revert to him on the matter as quickly as possible.
