The combined Athea, Askeaton, Foynes, Glin and Shanagolden Sewerage Scheme, the combined Dromcollogher, Hospital, Pallasgreen and Bruff Sewerage Scheme and the Adare Sewerage Scheme have been included for funding under my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009.

Limerick County Council's Preliminary Report for the Athea, Askeaton, Foynes, Glin and Shanagolden scheme was received in my Department in September 2008 and is being dealt with as quickly as possible. Further consideration will be given to the Council's Preliminary Report for the Dromcollogher, Hospital, Pallasgreen and Bruff scheme, which was also received in September 2008, on receipt of additional information requested from the Council in the meantime.

My Department approved Limerick County Council's Preliminary Report for the Adare Sewerage Scheme in 2002 and Contract Documents are awaited from the Council.
