Question 148: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of times a person (details supplied) has been transported from Portlaoise Prison for court appearances including the Court of Criminal Appeal, the High Court and the Supreme Court since their conviction in 1996 to date in 2008; the cost of transport and personnel associated with each visit; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
