Question 83: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to a survey by Enable Ireland in which more than half of the participants admitted they did not find it easy to access public buildings, 70% said they had not found the process of finding work easy, 34% found education had not been very accessible and just over two thirds of people with disabilities had difficulty accessing community events, social and leisure activities in their own areas; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am aware of the survey mentioned by the Deputy. The matters referred to come within the scope of the Government's National Disability Strategy and I will raise the issues concerned with my colleagues, the Ministers for Justice, Equality & Law Reform; Enterprise, Trade & Employment and Education & Science, in that context.
