Question 473: To ask the Minister for Defence the State sponsored bodies, quangos and other agencies within the remit of his Department that have the power to issue compulsory purchase orders; the number of CPOs that have been initiated by such agencies for the years 2005 to date in 2008; the purpose of such CPOs; the outcome in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In response to the Deputy's question I wish to state that none of the agencies within the remit of my Department have the power to issue compulsory purchase orders.
