In response to the Deputy's question I wish to state that the Director General of the Civil Defence Board is in receipt of pay under the Civil Service Principal Officer Pay Scale and no bonuses, merit awards or other payments above the basic salary are or were attached to this position in 2005, 2006, 2007 and to date in 2008.
