I am informed by the Garda Commissioner that the number of persons from a non-Irish background currently serving or in training in An Garda Síochána since diversity monitoring commenced in 2006 is 32.
The number of persons from a non-Irish background currently serving or in training for the Garda Reserve since its introduction in 2006 is 23.
