Question 897: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of fines imposed for breaches of the speed limits at the 50 km per hour limit; at the 60 km per hour limit; at the 80 km per hour limit; at the 100 km per hour limit and at the 120 km per hour limit for each of the years 2005, 2006 and 2007. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the following table sets out the number of fixed charge notices issued by members of An Garda Síochána for speeding offences in the 50, 60, 80, 100 and 120 kilometres per hour speed zones for each of the years 2005, 2006 and 2007.
