Project proposals have, following a detailed process of consideration, been prioritised by the Health Service Executive so as to fit within indicative funding levels under the National Development Plan. I have requested the Executive to prioritise and accelerate appropriate developments at Ennis General Hospital so as to support the modernisation of service delivery. My Department has been advised by the HSE that these developments will be incorporated within the Executive's capital programme in line with the hospital development in the Mid-Western Region and, specifically, the Ennis Hospital Development Control Plan. I understand that the HSE will shortly be publishing the details of its capital programme on its web site.
