Question 69: To ask the Minister for Finance the reason a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon has not received their notice of tax assessments for 2003 despite the fact that all relevant information has been lodged with the Revenue Commissioners, Galway for some time and has been re-submitted again by registered post due to original documents being mislaid. I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they have no record of receipt of the tax return in question prior to its receipt by registered post. A P21 PAYE balancing statement for the tax year 2003 issued to the person concerned on 26 June 2008 and an associated overpayment of tax was made on 30 June 2008.
