Question 203: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of asylum seekers deported in the past 24 months; the number of people of each nationality who were deported; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26368/08]

I refer the Deputy to the following table which shows the number of failed asylum seekers who were deported between the dates of 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2008 and the nationality of those who were deported.
