Question 115: To ask the Minister for Finance the amount raised from excise duties on petrol and diesel respectively for the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and to date in 2008; the amount raised from VAT on petrol and diesel respectively for the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and to date in 2008; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the amounts of tax revenue collected from Mineral Oil Tax and VAT on these products for the years 2004 to 2007 and the first four months of 2008 are as follows:
