Question 144: To ask the Taoiseach if he personally pays the toll charges incurred on his travels; if not, the cost to the taxpayer of tolls of such for each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20554/08]

Ministerial cars are driven by members of An Garda Síochána. Such vehicles are exempt from tolls under Section 62 of the Roads Act, 1993. Accordingly, no cost arises to the Exchequer.
