Question 127: To ask the Minister for Finance the number of staff serving in the Civil Service from 2003 to date in 2008 broken down by grade and gender; the number of work-sharing staff in the Civil Service from 2003 to date in 2008 broken down by grade, gender and the patterns of attendance worked; the number of staff in the Civil Service availing of term time from 2005 to date in 2008 broken down by grade and gender and the number of weeks worked, that is, eight, ten or three weeks including the number of staff who applied and those granted term time with the same breakdown; the number of staff availing of career breaks from 2003 to date in 2008 broken down by grade and gender and the reason the career break was taken; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
