Question 382: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if an application by a school (details supplied) in County Meath under the dormant accounts fund for a kitchen, library and parent room will be processed; if the applicant will be informed of the decision; when he expects payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In light of the very large number of project proposals received and the level of oversubscription, the Dormant Accounts Fund Inter-departmental Committee for Educational Disadvantage recommended that arrangements should be made to transfer these proposals to the Department's Planning and Building Unit for consideration in the context of the Department's overall Schools Building and Modernisation Programme. The application referred to by the Deputy will be considered, in due course, in this context.
