Question 254: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if his Department has carried out an advertising campaign to promote policies or programmes being implemented by his Department; the campaign or relevant programme; the cost of advertising in publications, broadcast advertising, outdoor advertising and any consultancy or production costs for each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department or the Offices that come under the aegis of my Department carried out the following advertising campaigns to promote policies or programmes being implemented by my Department in the past five years:
National Minimum Wage campaign
Work Life Balance campaign
NERA Employment Rights campaign.
The cost of advertising in publications, broadcast advertising, outdoor advertising and any consultancy or production costs for each of the past five years is as follows:

However, in the time available it has not been possible to obtain information about advertising campaigns undertaken by the Companies Registration Office and the Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs/National Consumer Agency in the past five years. However, the relevant information is being compiled at present and will be sent to the Deputy as soon as possible.
