Question 505: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on whether it is appropriate to introduce new legislation such as the random power to stop and search and new restriction on the sale of potential weapons in view of the growth in the possession of knives and other dangerous pointed weapons; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
