Question 230: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if plans have been approved for the sewerage scheme for Gweedore, County Donegal; the stage the project is at; when it is expected that work will commence on the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Gweedore Sewerage Scheme is approved for funding under my Department's Water Services investment Programme 2007 — 2009 at an estimated cost of €26m.

Additional information is awaited from Donegal County Council to allow my Department to finalise its examination of the Council's Tender Documents for the scheme.

The Falcarragh Sewerage Scheme is approved for funding under my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009 at an estimated cost of €3.6m. My Department is awaiting submission of Donegal County Council's Preliminary Report for the scheme.
