I wish to inform the Deputy that the information sought is not readily available in my Department and could not be collated without the application of a disproportionate amount of staff time.

However, I can inform the Deputy that regulations made under the European Communities Act 1972 contain within the preamble, in each case, a reference to that Act. Copies of all Statutory Instruments made since the coming into effect of the 1972 Act up to the end of June 2005 are available on the Irish Statute Book website (www.irishstatutebook.ie).
