Question 266: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if she will publish a draft report produced by the Working Group of the Strategy for the Control of Anti-Microbial Resistance in Ireland National Committee which is advocating a radical check-up of building standards in hospitals here to deal with the prevalence of deadly health care associated infections. I am informed by the Health Service Executive that it has recently produced a document for internal consultation on the subject of the built environment and infection control. I understand that the internal consultation process is now complete but the final guidance will not be available until late April or early May 2008.
