Question 526: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will provide funding in 2008 for the Kilgarvan sewerage scheme in County Kerry as this village cannot develop into the future or has not in the past due to lack of sewerage facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Kerry County Council is undertaking a strategic study with a view to optimising the delivery of wastewater infrastructure in up to 90 towns and villages in the county, including Kilgarvan. The Council's Preliminary Report for the Kilgarvan Sewerage Scheme will be further considered by my Department in the light of the study recommendations.
