I understand that the office of the Chief State Solicitor (CSSO) was in contact with the Deputy's office on 5 March in relation to this case. The CSSO is awaiting closing documents from the vendor's solicitor. When the outstanding documents have been received the matter can be finalised within a short time.

As stated in the reply to Question No. 621 of 12 February 2008, contracts were executed on my behalf and cheques issued to the Chief State Solicitor's Office (CSSO) in October, 2007. I have been assured by CSSO that closing documents have been prepared and that this sale will close shortly, once they hear back from the vendor's solicitor.
