My Department's Training and Development Unit organises courses on stress management to provide officials with techniques to manage stress in the workplace and reduce its negative impact. The Unit issues invitations to staff at regular intervals to attend such courses. During the period in question 406 officials at my Department attended courses on stress management. In addition to this presentations were delivered on stress management at networks for officials at Principal Officer, Assistant Principal Officer and Higher Executive Officer level in the final quarter of 2007 with a total of 160 officials attending.
