Question 492: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he has received a copy of a fire safety audit which was commissioned by Bray Town Council on an estate (details supplied) in County Wicklow; if so, if remedial works are proposed to be carried out on foot of the recommendations contained in the audit; the estimated cost of such works; and if his Department will provide the funding. Bray Town Council submitted a copy of its consultants report to my Department on 29 November 2007.

It is a matter for the housing authority to develop proposals to address the issues raised in the report and submit them to the Department, as appropriate.
