The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.

Question 222: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that many people with intellectual disabilities have been unable to access dental care in the Cork area due to the withdrawal or unavailability of full anaesthetic services; if there is a dispute ongoing between the Health Service Executive and Cork University Hospital on this issue; the nature of such a dispute; the steps being taken to resolve the issue in order to avoid further inconvenience and suffering to these patients; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
