The person referred to by the Deputy attended his local Immigration Office on the 8th January 2008 and was granted permission to remain on Student conditions until 31st December 2008.

Question 632: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will take steps, to have an application for a visa in respect of a person (details supplied), who wishes to visit this country, immediately expedited, particularly in the context where this person has visited this country for two previous three month stays, during which they abided by all rules and regulations governing the granting of such visas; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
