Question 201: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the procedures to be put in place in view of the fact that there was no BCG vaccine available between October 2007 and March 2008 to ensure that all those who should have received vaccines during the period will receive them without further delay; and the length of time she expects it will take to clear the backlog of those who did not receive their vaccines during this period. The Deputy's question relates to the funding, management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
