Question 418: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his Department has received the preliminary report for the Gort regional water supply; when Galway County Council will get approval to advance the project in view of the fact that all project development in the town of Gort is restricted until a proper water supply is provided. The Gort Regional Water Supply Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 — 2009 as a scheme to start construction in 2009. My Department is awaiting Galway County Council's revised Preliminary Report for the scheme.
