Question 196: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the progress made on the application of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 for citizenship which was lodged in May 2004; if he will respond to the parliamentary question of 22 May 2005 to the effect that a decision would be made in the first half of 2006; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question 592 on 27 November 2007.
Processing of the application is ongoing and the file will be forwarded to me for a decision in the coming months.
