Question 448: To ask the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the names of the programmes and schemes operated by his Department which were or continue to be funded in full or in part by the European Union; the amount of funding in each case since Ireland joined the EU; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is involved in a number of programmes and schemes some of which are funded by the EU. Details of the amount received by this Department from the EU since Ireland joined in 1973 are not immediately available. However, my Department will write to the Deputy with these details as soon as they are available.
