Question 170: To ask the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the amount of sports capital grants that have not been drawn down over the past five years in County Kildare; the amount not drawn down for the remainder of the country; if he has changed the minimum level of funding required by applicants; if changes have been made in relation to applications for such funding from RAPID or CLÁR areas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In line with a commitment in the Programme for Government, the minimum own funding requirement for projects in areas of urban disadvantage (i.e. RAPID and Local Drugs Task Force areas) has been reduced to 10%. No such change was made for CLÁR areas.
