Question 88: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will use the powers available to him under section 22 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 to provide for the traceability of alcohol sold for consumption off premises; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my detailed response to Question No.163 on 9 October last in which I outlined the reasons why I do not intend to make regulations under section 22 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 at this time. I have nothing further to add to the details set out in that reply.
