Question 117: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if mercury is still a constituent of the DPT vaccine given to babies at the age of two months, four months, and six months; if she will confirm that EU regulations want it removed; when it will be removed from the vaccine; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have had enquiries made of the Irish Medicines Board, which is the expert authority in Ireland regarding medicinal products, and I am advised that paediatric vaccines, including the DTP vaccine, do not contain mercury or mercury compounds.
