Question 844: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will request a report from Garda authorities on progress in the case of a murder (details supplied); if closed circuit television footage in the case was sufficient to identify one of the suspects; the reason this person has not yet been charged; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the investigation into the death of the person referred to by the Deputy is ongoing. As this is an ongoing Garda investigation it would be inappropriate for me to comment further at this time.
