Question 235: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the position in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow; if a claim has been made for them under the repayment scheme; if there has been, where the money goes as they may need assistance in this affair; the person who is documented as their next of kin; the position regarding the funding held back from their pension; if they are entitled to any portion of this for necessities or clothing which they may purchase; the procedure in place for refunding; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive has responsibility for administering the Repayment Scheme and the information sought by the Deputy relates to matters within the area of responsibility of the Executive. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued to the Deputy.
