The Customer Services Office of my Department received 2 complaints in 2005, 3 in 2006 and 2 in 2007, to date. Information on how to contact my Department's Customer Service Officer is contained in the Customer Service Action Plan and is also published on the Department's website. Customer Service in recent years has centred around the implementation and monitoring of the Departments first Customer Charter and Customer Service Action Plan 2004-2007, published in June 2004. Since then two customer surveys (April 2004 and November 2005) and two customer focus groups (April 2007) have been carried out. The results of these will provide valuable input to the new Customer Service Action Plan 2008-2010. It is intended to publish this early in 2008.
