Question 520: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of civil servants based in Dublin who have applied for decentralisation, who have been transferred to their decentralising post and are in position in the decentralised location outside Dublin; and the locations and the number of civil servants transferred from a Dublin post who are at such locations. Under my Department's Decentralisation Programme, two hundred and twelve people have been transferred from Dublin based posts. One hundred and thirty have transferred to Longford, eighteen to Portarlington, nineteen to Thurles, six to Tipperary Town, six to Roscrea and thirty three to Roscommon.
