The application referred to by the Deputy was received in the Visa Office, Dublin on 1 May 2007 and was refused by the Visa Officer on 2 May 2007. That decision was upheld by an Appeals Officer on 12 July 2007. I am pleased to inform the Deputy, however, that a subsequent visa application, no. 2131338, was approved on 17 September 2007.
