Question 301: To ask the Minister for Transport his views on the recent UK study which claims that there was no statistical evidence that enforcement of speed limits by cameras as opposed to police patrols significantly reduced death and injury through car crashes. [29790/07]

Issues relating to the use of speed cameras in the enforcement of speed limits, including any research relating to use of such equipment, is a matter for the Garda Authorities and the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
