The State's entitlement to nominate directors for appointment to the Board of Aer Lingus is set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company. The Memorandum and Articles came into effect on 2 October 2006, which was on the date of admission of the Company's shares on the Stock Exchange.
