Question 276: To ask the Minister for Health and Children her Department's policy in relation to ensuring that practical training and work experience is accessible to persons trained under special educational schemes to introduce trained health professionals such as occupational therapists, speech therapists and physiotherapists; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The content matter of all educational courses, including the special educational schemes to train health professionals, is a matter for the Department of Education and Science in consultation with the relevant Academic Providers and Professional Associations.
