Question 103: To ask the Minister for Transport the alternative support measures being put in place by his Department and the Government to support the private passenger transport sector following the apparent removal by the Department of Finance of the refund of excise duty on fuel used in passenger transport services; the reason the private passenger transport sector alleges it was not informed of the change before setting fares and contracts for 2008; and the actions he will take to remedy the situation.
