Question 371: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the precise date the construction of a new six classroom primary school building at Loughagar, Mullingar, County Westmeath, will be allowed commence; if she will ensure that same which is ready to commence will not be subject to any delay whatsoever; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The tender report for the school referred to by the Deputy is under examination in my Department at present. The school's Board of Management will be kept advised of developments when the examination is complete.

Question 372: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the nature of other reports being put before her for consideration in relation to the provision of a new eight classroom school building at Clonmellon, County Westmeath; the reason this important and necessary educational infrastructural facility is being delayed, when it has progressed through all stages, and in effect whereby the board of management and all partners involved were ready to commence construction; if same will be allowed to proceed immediately without further obstacle or impediment; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
